Took tube from Ealing to South Kensington and then Taxi to the start point on south bank by Albert bridge where we met Dave. Started Walk along Park side of Thames and crossed at Battersea Bridge. Stayed on North side passing Tate Britain and Millbank to Lambeth Bridge. Crossed over to South Bank and carried on past London Eye and Globe Theatre etc. Had Lunch outside national Theatre and walked on until we had Ice Cream outside Mayor's Headquarters.
Took Kids back on River Boat to Embankment station and so back on Tube to Ealing Broadway.
This is a blog of walks that we go on as a family. There will be a number of interesting walks, many around the Grantham and Lincolnshire area. In addition we include other walks that we do whilst on holiday in various parts of Europe. We welcome your feedback should you attempt or have already done any of these walks. Please visit also our other blogs http://mattnjohnsreadingdiary.blogspot.com Enjoy! We look forward to hearing from you!
