This walk was inspired by a Lincolnshire walking leaflet that Jack brought back from school. we amended it by changing our starting point as we live in Gonerby Hill Foot. We took the field walk up to the top of the hill which gives lovely views over Grantham. Jack enjoyed this walk and I think the high point for all was Matt and Jack rolling down the grassy field from the top of Gonerby Hill.

The views from the top of this hill are breathtaking and in the distance you can see as far as Lincoln cathedral, Newark and a number of power stations on the Trent. As an added incentive to Jack we did stop for chocolate, however what is a walk if you don't add in chocolate.
